What’s your job role at Lyon Agency?

I’m the Frontend Developer at Lyon and my job role revolves around building the digital presence of our clients. I spend my days turning Figma designs into fast, accessible, and visually stunning websites. We work with so many different clients here at Lyon — from creative agencies to tech startups and everything in between. Every project brings a new challenge, which keeps things exciting.

Tell us a bit about your background.

I’ve always been fascinated by the intersection of design and code. I started building websites as a hobby, experimenting with HTML and CSS, and quickly realized this was what I wanted to do full-time. I studied and specialized in frontend development, diving deep into modern frameworks and performance optimization. Before Lyon, I worked on a variety of projects that helped me understand what makes a great user experience — not just how it looks, but how it feels.

What made you get in touch with Lyon?

I had been following Lyon’s work for a while and was genuinely impressed by the quality of their portfolio. You could tell that every project was crafted with real attention to detail — not just visually, but technically. When the opportunity came up, I didn’t hesitate. What really drew me in was the culture — a small, tight-knit team where everyone genuinely cares about the work they put out. What are you most looking forward to working at Lyon?

The creative freedom, honestly. At Lyon, there’s room to experiment and push boundaries. I’m excited about exploring new technologies and finding ways to make our clients’ websites not just functional, but genuinely memorable. I’m also looking forward to collaborating more closely with the design side — bridging the gap between what looks great in Figma and what performs great in the browser.

What’s your favorite part of frontend development?

There’s something incredibly satisfying about taking a static design and bringing it to life with animations, interactions, and smooth transitions. That moment when everything clicks — the layout is pixel-perfect, the animations feel natural, and the performance scores are green — that’s the sweet spot. I also love the problem-solving aspect. Every project has its unique challenges, and finding elegant solutions is what keeps me motivated.
